To make your life healthier, you have to look for what is not working and change it. Of course nobody changes the things that are working perfectly, only the ones which have hitches here and there. So how do you know what you need to change? One of the things you can look out for is your attitude. When you always complain about things in your life, then you need a change. It cannot be that everything in your life has an issue. It maybe that you need a different outlook on things. When your viewpoint changes, you are not easily angered by every silly thing that you encounter. You are able to ignore some of the mistakes that people make and just be happy. You end up rising above the situation.
Another thing you may need to look at is your relationships. If you are constantly angry and hurt by the people that you are close to, then you need to get out of there. ‘But we grew up together?’ ‘How will I start over again?’ ‘I don’t want to appear bad!’ People make all these excuses, forgetting that if these relationships were working they would not be so miserable. When a relationship is not working in your life, let it go! It is easier to walk away than to pay a counselor to get over the trauma of the relationships you had.
Learn to think positively about yourself. Read books which encourage you to use your potential and fulfill your purpose in life. You will know when things turn for the better in your life. So don’t pretend you are okay when you have no peace in your life. Search for peace and fulfilment and you will find it.
