It is a given that at one time or the other you will get angry. Someone will say something and it triggers you off. Another person will do something that will irk you. Being angry in itself is not bad. What you do while you are angry is what matters. If you go berserk and make everyone pay for one mistake, you have become like your offender. On the other hand, if you reflect on that which angers you and try not to hurt others the same way, you will have grown as a person.
It is hard to be the bigger person and walk away from trouble. Yet sometimes if you don’t rise from anger, nobody can pull you out. The bible says to be angry but not to sin. It is not wrong to feel offended. But it is wrong to cause havoc because you were offended. It’s a pretty thin line you have to walk. That is why healing is important for you. Forgiving stops your heart from dwelling on the mistakes of others. It gives you fresh air in terms of thoughts and actions.
