Saul’s armor…Saul a great king of Israel, a warrior and the hope of a nation at the time when a Giant Goliath was mocking the army of the Living God. David then a shepherd boy is angered by this and decides to confront Goliath. Saul on the other hand offers to help by giving out his armor to David. He couldn’t move much with it. It may have looked like the real deal but with it, David didn’t stand a chance… He was immobile! What armor are you depending on? it may look like the real deal (it comes from the king and a warrior ) But, with it, you are vulnerable to destruction. I choose the sling shot and five stones. With my God backing it, the bigger the enemy the greater the victory! Yes we miss what we have and or can access for our victory because it looks small and insignificant…in comparison to our enemy but think about it, that is what you are best at and it is unique to the battle ahead, infact it will be unexpected. Goliath was sarcastic at the tool of war in David’s hands, the ignorance costed him his life and gave David victory. Don’t listen to their intimidation and listen to the One whose victory is assured, He will give you the right weapon for that battle which may not look much.
