Does your child know how to share or does he keep his toys to himself? Many parents say their children don’t know how to share, but they learn this from home. When a child is allowed to be selfish at home, they will repeat that behavior outside the home. A child who cannot share with a sibling will not share with another child outside the home. This may deprive them of friends.
Teaching a child to share helps them to interact with other children better. This is because they will be able to make friends easily. They will not feel entitled to other people’s things and they will be willing to wait for their turn. When they grow up, they will be patient and considerate of other people.
